Immute:Jackals Tour Complete / Competition Revealed

The tour in support of the KUNVUK album "Immute:Jackals" is officially complete. Thanks to everyone who came out and bought a CD and/or shirt. It means the world to us. We are currently working on one more video from the "Immute:Jackals" album and then we will be turning our full attention to the new noise.

We are also excited to announce a new competition on the website. When we created the artwork for the album "Immute:Jackals" we embedded a message, hidden in code, of golden proportions. The first person who can successfully decode the message and post it on our facebook page will win a huge amount of KUNVUK gear. Head over to the competitons page for full details.

Indian Metallers Need A Singer

We are going to be supporting Indian metallers BLIND IMAGE on their upcoming tour of Australia in both Canberra and Sydney. They have had some major issues trying to get their singer into the country so our very own frontman David Hart will be stepping up and doing to whole tour of Australia with these boys. This is going to be a massive few weeks so check out the dates here and see where we will be killing it.

These shows will also represent the last shows of the "Immute:Jackals" album tour. Next time you seen KUNVUK we will have a new album under our belt and this bastard is shaping up to be ridiculous...

We are proud to announce that we have joined Deadsets Promotions Touring Roster! This will see us spreading our noise across Australia and overseas in much denser bursts of insanity. We are frantically working on new videos and new music so get strapped in because the next couple of months are going to be chaos on legs.

VIRGILE COSTE - Welcome!

We give you, our new drummer! Virgile Coste! We have found the most incredible drummer in this insanely dynamic Frenchman. The songs from our debut album are sounding absolutely crushing with him and the new songs are shaping up to be incredible shape-shifting, teeth-crushing experiments in ferocious annoyance. Our band now wholly contains three members from three different continents: Europe, South America and Australia. Damn! We couldn’t be more pumped! Check out the photo of the new line-up below.

Free gig @Newtown RSL this Friday

Thanks to everyone, especially the hardcore crew, for coming down and helping us launch "Immute:Jackals" into the live arena last week at the Lewisham Hotel. We had a freaking blast! Thanks to Lindsay for taking some great photos (we'll post them up in the "photos" section of the website in the next few days).

For those of you who couldn't make it to the last gig we are continuing the launch this Friday at the Newtown RSL in Sydney. It's free entry and we'll be giving away a couple of copies of "Immute:Jackals" to the more excitable members of the audience.

The album is a two-disc package: the first disc is all new compositions and the second disc is a reconstructed, re-recorded, remixed and remastered version of the band's demo EP, "The Gone Mekanik Anticipation Demonstration". Released in an 8-panel, DVD-sized package with a stunning 24-page booklet this album is something very different, explosive and confusing.
